Outsourcing torture.
Look for info on Maher Arar, and look up extraordinary rendition.
This is unacceptable from the USA. It is totally immoral, and is inexcusable. This is wrong.

Looney Tunes is getting a makeover.

This makes a lot of people unhappy, including the Prodigal. To quote Casey,
"this idea plots somewhere between new coke, neverland ranch daycare, and poochy..."
Ouch.

I hoped this would be like Tiny Toons or even the greatness of Taz-Mania (this episode made my father laugh harder than I have ever heard him laugh.)
However, I don't think this will be that good, or last that long. It will probably end up a footnote in cartoon history, a "what were they thinking?" moment for historians to ponder.

Things like this make me feel better about my addiction to CoH.
Here's Razorsharpe sporting his new flame sword while recovering the Wheel of Destruction from a cemetary filled with undead.

I am happy the baby is okay, but the idea of the other head blinking and smiling disturbs me greatly.

Prepare yourself for the anti-Republican views of conceptualguerilla.com
A former lawyer who seems pretty pissed at a lot of right wing things. I like it.
Some would even say I adore it. However, I don't use that word anymore.
It gives people the wrong idea about me.

How did I miss this for so long? No one loses nine billion dollars. This is sitting in some top secret account somewhere funding a team of super psychic assassins, or some other X-files type program we'll never see.

This is just odd. Let's flip a bunch of coins, and see if we can predict the future as well.

Attention: I am about to post a link to an article that makes the United States government look bad. Prepare accordingly.
White House Turns Tables on Former American POWs
It mentions supporters of the POWs from both parties, so maybe there is hope.
But somehow, I doubt it.

I never really saw the cartoon version, but I can't pass up live action giant robot fights.
Especially when one of them flexes and blows out all the windows around it. If we ever make the Natureboys movie we may need a giant robot fight, along with ninjas and whatever else we put into it.

Of course, there is always the Imaginary Girlfriend service to start, no, that's been done as well.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Villain Hall of Fame
John Vernon was one of the great bad guys of my childhood. He was in lots of movies, tv shows, cartoons, and video games. He is hereby posthumously inducted into the Villain Hall of Fame. I will always remember him for his work as Krader in Ernest Goes to Camp and Mr. Big in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. He was a bad guy in pretty much every tv show in the 80s that I can remember. If that isn't enough, he was the voice of both Rupert Thorne (a pretty good Batman villain) and Dr. Doom (one of the greatest villains EVER).
So, go watch Animal House or The Outlaw Josey Wales to see him in action.

Just to repeat, Sports Night was an awesome show. Waaaaay better than most anything else on tv.

DAN: Let me say also that you don't look that good.
CASEY:Then let me point to recent data that suggests that a considerable portion of viewers think that I'm the cute one.
DAN: A considerable portion of our viewers are men.
