It's been a while since I attacked the Bush administration, so here's a boring, minor shot.
"the Bush administration is punishing engineers who supported the John Kerry campaign by having them barred from representing the US at an international standards body meeting."
The message board discussion summed it up pretty well:
"Presumably we should be sending our best and brightest to represent us - not the best and brightest that happened not to send a check to the losing party." and
"Elected officials are responsible for representing and protecting the entire electorate. Not just the winners."
Way to unite America, Bush. Nothing like giving democrats the finger when you get a chance.
