When I saw that a German super strong baby exists, I immediately thought of Nietzsche and his overman (hi Casey). From there, I started thinking of Watchmen, because of the quote
"I never said 'The superman exists and he's American.'"
If you have read Watchmen, it will make a lot more sense.

A few years ago I saw a Japanese movie trailer for a movie called Ju-on. Just the trailer freaked me out, especially the "blue hand in the shower" scene. Well, now there is an American remake.

The Mojave Airport Civilian Flight Test Center is considered a spaceport. I am pretty sure I can't explain in words how cool it is to live in a world with spaceports. Seriously, my face hurts from smiling so much.

I have a backlog of video games going back to 2000 that I started and then never finished. Well, it took me four years, three different houses, and two computers, but I finished Deus Ex yesterday.

I started watching Sports Night in order. It should still be on tv today, instead of all this reality tv crap.
Dan Rydell: [on the air] We'll bring you the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat-and, because we've got soccer highlights, the sheer pointlessness of a zero-zero tie. You're watching Sports Night on CSC, so stick around.

How odd is it that the real CIA website has a museum of fake spy gadgets? I ended up at the CIA website because I was looking for stuff about the The Wild Wild West, which was a great sci-fi/western show. I pretend the movie never existed.

My official tartan. Remember Robert the Bruce? My family got their name because of him. Well, because of his heart, anyway. Seems like a popular thing in Europe even now.

The Marvel Directory
It answers a lot of questions about comic books. I know i'm not the only person who wanted to know that Baron Zemo was the first character to be called Phoenix (in 1973, while Jean Grey didn't get called that until October 1974).
Right?
